Fresh Food Associate (Butchery & Fishery Specialist)

Butchery Operations & Meat Preparation Deftly handle, bone, trim, slice, and grind various kinds of meat (beef, lamb, mutton, and poultry) based on standardized supermarket yield expectations and individual customer specs.

Prepare value-added, retail-ready items such as marinated kebabs, burger patties, koftas, and seasoned roasts.

Safely operate, break down, and sanitize commercial butchery machinery (meat band saws, mincers, slicers, and automated scales).

Fishery Operations & Seafood Preparation Expertly scale, gut, gill, de-bone, and fillet local regional fish (e.g., Hamour, Sherry, Kingfish, Sheri) and imported species (e.g., Salmon, Seabream).

Clean, shell, and prep crustaceans (shrimp, prawns, crabs, lobster) and cephalopods (squid, cuttlefish).

Set up, manage, and refresh the raw crushed-ice display beds throughout the day, ensuring precise presentation and preventing fish dehydration.

Commercial Merchandising & Inventory Control Maintain highly clean, attractive, and fully stocked display units for both departments using FIFO (First In, First Out) rules.

Conduct routine freshness audits via sensory assessment (checking for clear eyes, firm flesh, bright red gills on fish; and optimal color and texture on meat).

Supermarket Operations

High School Diploma or Vocational Training in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or Food Processing.

Minimum of 2 years of dual experience or combined hands-on exposure working in both meat processing and f ishmonger departments within modern retail supermarkets or commercial kitchens.

Must possess a valid UAE Occupational Health Card (OHC) / Food Handler Card.

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
