Freelance UI/UX Designer

Position overview

Work arrangement

• The position is remote.

Compulsory requirement

• At least 3 years of UI/UX design experience and a strong portfolio covering digital product, web, and mobile app design.

Responsibilities

• Design user-centered web and mobile interfaces, including flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, marketing strategists, and clients to translate needs and business goals into digital experiences.
• Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides across company and client projects.
• Prepare user journeys and layouts, present UX concepts, and incorporate feedback and usability-testing data.
• Stay current with UI/UX trends, design methodologies, micro-interactions, and digital platforms.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional UI/UX design experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating research, wireframing, prototyping, and final visual interface work for complex web and mobile platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch and understanding of development handoff.
• Strong visual communication and knowledge of layout, information architecture, responsive design grids, typography, and WCAG accessibility.
• Strategic thinking and user empathy; able to develop polished prototypes aligned with user needs and brand goals.
• Strong organization, time tracking, and project management skills; able to manage multiple pipelines, meet deadlines, and coordinate with remote teams.

Advantage

• Experience with tech startups, marketing agencies, or product design studios is advantageous.

Payment structure

• Payments are hourly, for completed work at rates aligned with industry standards and experience.
