We’re Hiring: Freelance Account Manager - Business Development and Trade Marketing for Tourism (GCC)
UAE-based | Freelance / Contract
We are looking for a proactive, strategic, and highly organized Account Manager Business Development and Trade Marketing to support our work on Oman tourism across GCC markets (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait).

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development and trade marketing strategies to grow clients presence across GCC markets
- Identify and build strategic relationships with travel trade partners and MICE stakeholders
- Drive co-marketing partnerships and commercial opportunities to increase demand and market share
- Provide ongoing market intelligence, identifying trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning
- Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day communication, coordination, and project execution
- Translate client needs into clear deliverables and ensure timely delivery of services
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to align on objectives and campaign direction
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for increased impact and growth
- Prepare regular updates, reports, and follow-up materials
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in business development, trade marketing, and account management within the tourism and travel industry.
- Proven track record in developing partnerships and driving business growth for tourism destinations
- Strong experience in GCC markets
- Strong network within travel trade and tourism stakeholders in the region
- Native Arabic speaker with excellent command of English (C1 level or above)
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational abilities; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working in a freelance/independent setup
