Role overview

Planning and business partnering

• Lead end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Manage P&L performance and provide financial analysis, variance reporting, and actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
• Partner with executive leadership, business owners, and functional heads on strategic planning, investments, and performance improvement.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Produce executive presentations and analysis for senior leadership, investment committees, and governance forums.

Investment, cost, and governance

• Develop financial models, scenario analysis, business cases, investment appraisals, and benefits tracking.
• Drive cost management, cost ownership, transparency, accountability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Challenge assumptions and spending proposals to align resources with company priorities and measurable value.
• Provide financial guidance on vendor contracts, software licensing, managed services, outsourcing, and procurement.
• Maintain governance over investment funding, change requests, and benefits realization; establish and improve processes, controls, and reporting standards.
• Support headcount planning for employees and contractors and keep costs aligned with budgets and organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements.

Collaboration and process improvement

• Use AI, automation, and digital technologies to improve finance processes, analysis, reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Procurement, HR, and other Corporate Functions.

Qualifications and experience

• Significant experience in FP&A, Financial Controlling, Finance Business Partnering, or Corporate Finance.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, headcount planning, and financial governance.
• Strong experience developing business cases, investment appraisals, and financial models.
• Experience supporting senior leadership teams and influencing strategic decisions.
• Ability to manage complex financial data and deliver meaningful performance insights.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Experience working within a large international organization.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools and digital technologies for finance analysis, reporting, forecasting, and decision support.
