Customer-facing forward deployed engineering role building AI applications for enterprise customers in Abu Dhabi.
Own work from customer discovery and solution design through production deployment and user adoption.
What you’ll do
- Identify valuable AI use cases with customers and define delivery requirements.
- Build and deploy AI agents, LLM applications, and automated workflows.
- Integrate applications with customer APIs, databases, and internal systems.
- Own discovery, prototyping, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
- Resolve security, reliability, model quality, latency, and cost challenges.
- Collaborate with product teams to make customer deployments reusable platform capabilities.
Required experience
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience, including at least two years building and deploying AI/ML applications.
- Hands-on production experience with LLM or agentic AI applications used by real users; explain contribution, architecture, deployment decisions, and results.
- Strong Python skills covering backend services, APIs, testing, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with RAG pipelines and/or agents using tools, APIs, and multi-step workflows.
- Enterprise integration experience, including authentication, data access, and error handling.
- Customer or business stakeholder experience gathering requirements, explaining trade-offs, and managing delivery expectations.
- Must be based in the UAE.
Role capabilities
- Combine hands-on engineering with business judgement and communicate technical trade-offs in terms of business impact.
- Lead discovery, shape solution architecture, write production code, manage scope and delivery, and help users adopt deployed systems.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role based in Abu Dhabi; the work involves direct customer engagement and customer deployments.
