Key Responsibilities
- Understand user workflows, data sources, pain points, and success criteria with users and technical stakeholders.
- Translate ambiguous operational requirements into technical designs and deployable solutions.
- Build production-grade applications, APIs, integrations, data workflows, and AI-powered features.
- Develop LLM, RAG, agentic, extraction, classification, and decision-support workflows.
- Deploy and operate solutions using cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, testing, and security controls.
- Debug application, data, model, infrastructure, and integration issues.
- Scale successful pilots into production rollouts across teams or customer environments.
- Create reusable implementation patterns and convert customer feedback into product requirements and playbooks.
Required Qualifications
- Strong software engineering experience in at least one area, including backend, full-stack, data engineering, AI engineering, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to ship working software in real operational environments, not only prototypes or demos.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Java.
- Practical experience with APIs, databases, authentication, deployment workflows, and production debugging.
- Strong problem-solving in ambiguous and fast-moving environments.
- Sound judgment balancing speed, reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Excellent communication and confidence engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Valued Team Capabilities
- Software and product engineering, including full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, event-driven systems, databases, and enterprise integrations.
- AI/LLM engineering, including RAG, agents, tool calling, evaluations, monitoring, fine-tuning, inference optimization, and red teaming.
- Infrastructure, DevOps, and security, including cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, IAM, and secure deployment.
- Data and enterprise integration, including ETL/ELT, streaming, document ingestion, data quality, schema design, and CRM, ERP, SIEM/SOAR, and other integrations.
Relevant Backgrounds
- Relevant backgrounds may include full-stack, backend, AI/LLM, data, DevOps/platform, solutions architecture, technical consulting, cybersecurity, or enterprise software implementation.
Success in the First 3–6 Months
- Deliver working pilots or production features in real customer environments.
- Turn ambiguous requirements into usable technical solutions and repeatable implementation patterns.
- Improve adoption through user engagement, clear communication, and practical engineering.
- Identify product gaps and provide actionable feedback to the product roadmap.
