About This Role

Formwork logistics engineer combines the technical knowledge of a Formwork engineer with expertise in supply chain management and material coordination to ensure that design components are available at the right place and time during a construction project.


  • Forecast and plan formwork material requirements based on project schedules and construction sequences.

  • Ensure optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory

  • Plan daily/weekly distribution of formwork materials to project sites to maximize the in house material utilization and reduce the rental

  • Develop logistics and material delivery plans to ensure timely availability at sites.

  • Monitor hired formwork components across construction sites as well as at warehouse.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse and site teams for material allocation.

  • Coordinate with the design team for maximum material utilization.

  • Optimize transportation and propose cost-saving measures.

  • Monitor the handling of formwork materials at site and report any misuse or improper handling

  • Prepare monthly reports on hired and in-house material utilization, shortages .

  • Plan and coordinate the delivery and return of formwork materials to/from project sites .

  • Collaborate with construction team to align delivery schedules with construction timelines.

  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of hired formwork components .

  • Ensure proper documentation for the damaged material lists

  • Analyze logistics workflows and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs.

  • Ensure all logistics activities adhere to safety standards and regulations

  • Conduct regular inspections of handling material at our warehouse .
