Forklift Driver, Heavy Duty, Open Yard

Responsibilities

• Operating the forklift in a proper manner and ensuring that no accidents / damages are caused due to negligent driving.
• Ensuring that the forklift is optimally utilized and regularly maintained.
• Carrying out daily inspection of equipment prior to usage to ensure that the equipment is safe to be operated and reporting any discrepancy to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensuring to stop operation of equipment at any given time in the event of malfunction.
• Reporting accidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Following instructions from the supervisor during Loading and Downloading material whilst observing HSE policies and procedures.
• Preparing material for outbound.
• Ensuring that the materials are stacked accurately assuring safe and proper placement.
• Reporting damages immediately to the supervisor while performing duty.
• Elevating potential problems, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement of operation to the supervisor.
• Performing any other related duties/projects assigned by Supervisor from time to time to meet business exigencies.

**Education** – High School

• Basic Communication Skills

• Excellent hand/eye co-ordination
