Oversee daily operations at a steel yard and manage a team, with responsibility for steel handling and efficient yard activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise loading, unloading, and material handling activities.
- Ensure workers follow safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain inventory and ensure materials are stored properly.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and yard cleanliness.
- Assign tasks, monitor worker performance, and report daily operations to management.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and material handling procedures.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- English is required; Hindi is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment is preferred.
