Role Description
The Food Server role at Narcissus Hotel and Residence in Jeddah is a full-time, on-site position responsible for providing attentive, professional service in the hotel’s dining venues.
The Food Server will greet guests, present menus, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages in a timely, courteous manner.
This role includes setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered correctly.
The Food Server will handle guest inquiries, accommodate special requests when possible, and resolve basic service issues or escalate them appropriately.
The position also involves adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, following hotel service procedures, and supporting colleagues during peak service periods or special events.
Qualifications
- Strong guest-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with diverse guests and team members.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including menu familiarity, serving standards, and basic food handling and hygiene practices.
- Basic understanding of Cooking or kitchen operations to communicate effectively with culinary teams and accurately describe menu items.
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, or hotels is preferred, especially in luxury or high-end service environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifts, and to stand and move for extended periods.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality service.
- Basic English communication skills; additional language abilities (such as Arabic or other commonly spoken languages) are an advantage.
- Saudi Nationality only.
- Fresh graduate preferred.
