Food & Catering Services Staff

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests; take and relay food and beverage orders; serve according to lounge standards.
• Maintain clean tables and service areas; assist with food preparation, buffet setup, catering, and events.
• Follow food hygiene, safe handling, storage, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain presentation quality; handle guest requests, feedback, and basic complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen, service, housekeeping, and other departments.
• Set up and clear tables, replenish service items, and support busy periods and events.

Requirements

• Previous food and beverage, catering, restaurant, lounge, hotel, or similar hospitality experience is preferred.
• UAE or GCC hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Basic English communication skills are required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Basic food hygiene and safe food-handling knowledge; communication and customer-service orientation.
• Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and as part of a multicultural team.
• Good grooming and professional appearance.

Preferred skills

• Guest service, food and beverage service, catering and event support, and food safety.
• Table setup and service, teamwork and coordination, complaint handling, time management, and attention to detail.

Pay

• Pay is listed as AED 1,200 to AED 5,000 per month, based on experience and suitability.
