is seeking a qualified and experienced
Fire Protection Engineer
with
5+ years of experience
to join its engineering team in Dubai.
The role involves designing, reviewing, and implementing fire protection and life safety systems in compliance with NFPA, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design fire protection and life safety systems (sprinklers, fire alarm, suppression systems)
Prepare fire protection layouts, calculations, and technical drawings
Ensure compliance with NFPA, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and project specifications
Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and structural teams
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
Liaise with Civil Defense and other authorities for approvals
Conduct fire risk assessments and engineering evaluations
Support site teams with inspections, testing, and commissioning
Ensure quality control and adherence to HSE requirements
Prepare technical reports and documentation
Minimum
5 YEARS of experience
as a Fire Protection Engineer
Bachelor s degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Experience
with
UAE Civil Defense approvals
is preferred
Strong knowledge of fire suppression and detection systems
Excellent coordination and communication skills
Smoke Management & Life Safety
Knowledge of NFPA, FM Global, and UAE Codes
