Finishing Project Engineer - Main Contractor (High Rise Building)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• **Project Planning and Coordination:**
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for the finishing stage.
• **Site Supervision:**
• Oversee and supervise site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• **Coordination with Stakeholders:**
• Collaborate closely with site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of finishing works.
• **Quality Assurance and Control:**
• Implement rigorous quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and materials.
• **Risk Management:**
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with the finishing stage.
• **Progress Monitoring and Reporting:**
• Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports for management.
• **Change Order Management:**
• Review and approve change orders, ensuring they align with project objectives and budget constraints.
• **Safety and Compliance:**
• Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in high-rise building construction.
• In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction methodologies.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
