Construction Planner - High Rise Building

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules, including detailed work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.
• Utilize advanced scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) to create and manage project plans.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Monitor project progress, analyze performance metrics, and generate regular progress reports for management.
• Implement effective change management processes to accommodate project modifications.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior planning team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction planning experience in high-rise building projects.
• Proven expertise in using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and industry best practices.
• Experience working in the UAE construction industry is preferred.
