Financial Systems Analyst

Role Overview

Essential Responsibilities

• Support financial systems configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Develop and enhance custom reports for business, financial, and operational reporting requirements.
• Monitor data integrity and system performance; analyze systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and recommend system and process improvements.
• Advise business stakeholders on JD Edwards financial modules and other financial systems.
• Deliver end-user training and develop user documentation and training materials.
• Collaborate with Finance and Information Services to gather requirements and update system logic and business rules.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, validation, issue resolution, and go-live activities for implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in financial systems and core financial processes.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly advanced Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards, Concur, Coupa, or comparable ERP and financial management platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data accuracy, and communication skills.
• Understand accounting principles, financial business cycles, and internal control frameworks.
• Construction, infrastructure, or related industry knowledge is an asset.

Working Conditions

• Hybrid role, working in the office two days per week, with flexibility to attend as business requires.

Compensation

• Expected base pay range is CAD 80,000 to CAD 110,000; individual base pay depends on experience, knowledge, skills, education, and location.
