Overview
- Master Works is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist / Accountant to join our Finance team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- **Main Roles & Responsibilities****Financial Statement Reporting*** Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and company policies
- Assist in financial analysis and reporting to management
- Coordinate with other departments for financial data collection
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities when required
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports
- **Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
- 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP
- Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- **Technical Skills*** Financial statement preparation and reporting
- General ledger accounting
- Consolidation and intercompany reconciliation
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Audit support and documentation
- Financial analysis and reporting
