As a Financial Planning Analyst at GCGRA, you will support the organization's financial planning, analysis, and cash management activities.
The role focuses on delivering accurate financial insights, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and assisting in managing liquidity and banking operations.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective financial decision-making and contribute to maintaining the organization's financial stability and operational efficiency.
• Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Assist business units to develop realistic financial targets aligned with corporate strategy.
- Prepare detailed financial models for budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Deliver monthly management reporting, including variance analysis and performance insights.
- Analyse financial results and key drivers to support informed decision-making.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor performance against targets.
- Business Partnering
- Work closely with all GCGRA Divisions and Departments to support financial decision-making.
- Present financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-finance stakeholders.
- Challenge assumptions and promote financial discipline across departments.
• Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Prepare and support cash flow forecasting and continuous liquidity monitoring.
- Monitor cash positions and ensure adequate funding for operational and strategic needs.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions within the UAE.
- Oversee bank accounts, payment structures, and treasury controls.
- Ensure efficient cash management processes, including collections and payments.
- Support evaluation of financing requirements and capital structure considerations, where applicable.
- Strategic Support
- Support long-term strategic planning and analysis where relevant.
- Assist in evaluating projects, partnerships, and capital investments.
- Provide insights on market trends, Federal reporting performance, and macroeconomic factors relevant to the UAE/GCC region.
• Systems, Processes & Governance
- Drive automation and efficiency in financial planning and reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within financial systems.
- Support compliance with group financial policies, IFRS, and UAE regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualification preferred: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA.
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, management reporting, or financial analysis roles, ideally within a multinational or regional organisation.
- Strong financial modelling and advanced analytical skills.
- Excellent command of Excel and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Experience in treasury management, including cash flow forecasting and banking coordination.
- Experience working in the UAE or GCC region is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders.
