Role overview

Supports the enterprise business application portfolio used by Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Research Administration, and clinical operations.

Owns one module of a larger application or one smaller application, including support, configuration, testing, and documentation.

Provides Tier II support and independently resolves routine and moderately complex issues within the assigned scope.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve production issues and service requests; diagnose root causes, document resolutions, and escalate complex problems with impact assessments.
  • Perform routine maintenance, audits, monitoring, and access activities; manage vendor support tickets through resolution.
  • Configure and test changes, implement approved enhancements through change control, manage security assignments, and contribute to upgrades and integrations.
  • Gather and document requirements; assess impacts to processes, data, roles, interfaces, risks, and alternatives.
  • Analyze data, reports, and reconciliations to investigate issues and validate solutions.
  • Develop and execute test scripts, coordinate user testing, verify fixes, and support acceptance testing and release readiness.
  • Maintain application requirements, configuration guides, support procedures, and knowledge articles; create job aids and deliver end-user training.
