Role overview

Reporting, controls, and close

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated statements and manage consolidation across subsidiaries, joint ventures, and affiliates.
• Oversee elimination entries, intercompany reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and group reporting submissions.
• Strengthen financial controls; review performance, profitability, risks, balance sheet integrity, and financial indicators.
• Ensure IFRS, statutory, and governance compliance; oversee audits, regulatory filings, and related tax and compliance reporting.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close, improve reporting timelines and accuracy, and review significant accounting judgments.

Contracts, management reporting, and leadership

• Oversee EPC and construction accounting, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, project profitability, contract assets, claims, variations, and provisions.
• Prepare board, CFO, and leadership reporting; present performance, trends, risks, and recommendations.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards and report on profitability, cash flow, working capital, and operational efficiency.
• Lead the reporting and controlling team and partner with finance, operations, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
• Build relationships with auditors, regulators, financial institutions, and external stakeholders.

Education and professional qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA, or CA qualification is mandatory.
• MBA in Finance or a related discipline is preferred.
• IFRS certification or advanced technical accounting qualifications are preferred.

Experience and expertise

• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, consolidation, audit, or financial controlling.
• Significant experience in diversified holding groups, multinational organizations, or large corporate environments.
• Experience supporting construction, EPC, infrastructure, contracting, trading, or industrial businesses.
• Minimum two years at Audit Manager level within a Big 4 audit firm; Big 4 audit background is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading large finance and reporting teams and dealing with executives, boards, and audit committees.
• Deep IFRS and group consolidation knowledge, including EPC accounting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Commodity trading revenue recognition and gross margin reporting familiarity; knowledge of holding-company reporting, internal controls, governance, and audit frameworks.

• SAP is preferred; consolidation systems and ERP platforms are relevant.
