This role is a senior-level opportunity for a strategic
Financial Controller
based in
Jeddah
, tasked with managing the financial health of a major entertainment company.
The position focuses on high-level oversight of a complex multi-entity structure, requiring a blend of technical accounting precision and strategic operational insight.
Key Responsibilities
- **Reporting & Consolidation:**
- Ensuring full IFRS and KSA compliance while managing complex intercompany transactions and consolidated reporting across multiple subsidiaries.
- **Operational Control:**
- Managing event-specific financials, including production costs, F&B margins, and rigorous COGS governance.
- **Strategic Planning:**
- Leading annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis to identify operational efficiencies and support executive decision-making.
- **Governance & Compliance:**
- Strengthening internal controls and managing all tax requirements, including ZATCA VAT and external audit coordination.
Candidate Requirements
- **Qualifications:**
- A BA in Finance or Accounting, ideally paired with a professional certification such as
CPA, CMA, ACCA, or SOCPA
- .
- **Experience:**
- At least 10 years of professional experience, specifically with multi-entity structures.
- A background in the
Big 4
- is highly preferred.
- **Sector Background:**
Experience
- in large-scale sectors like Construction, Aviation, or Retail.
- Previous exposure to the entertainment or hospitality industries is considered a significant advantage.
- **Skills:**
- Full fluency in both
- English and Arabic
- is essential.
- **Availability:**
- Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately or within a 30-day notice period
