Financial Consultant

About This Role

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Consultant with experience in real estate to manage the financial operations of our portfolio. The role includes bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing cash flow reporting, and ensuring accurate bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and prior experience in the real estate industry.

Job Profile:

1. Bookkeeping and General Ledger Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records.
• Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger for property-related transactions.

2. Financial Reporting and Statements Preparation

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS or GAAP.

3. Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and manage property-level cash flow, including rental income, operating expenses, and other financial activities.
• Provide detailed cash flow analysis and projections to management.

4. Reconciliations and Compliance

• Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
• Oversee accounts, security deposits, and lease-related reconciliations.

5. Budgeting, Reporting, and Process Improvement

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting and analyze variances.
• Identify areas for financial process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (BCom, MCom).

· Professional certifications such as CMA, CMA Inter, CA Inter, ACCA, or CA are highly preferred.

· 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate industry.

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Zoho, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.

· Strong understanding of real estate accounting, financial statement preparation, and cash flow management.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
