Financial Analyst - Product Costing

Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure legal entity reporting complies with applicable accounting principles, including review of management judgments, guarantees, and impairments.
• Perform period-end close for assigned sites, joint ventures, and product lines.
• Conduct inventory analysis and reporting and oversee cycle counts.
• Support internal and external audits and execute standard cost updates.
• Maintain account reconciliations and manage fixed asset settlements across Mexico and related depreciation runs.
• Partner with manufacturing teams on asset maintenance.
• Value contracts under IFRS 16, set up agreements, and manage monthly bookings.
• Handle FX valuations for Mexico legal entities and PCA cycles as part of closing.
• Provide tax and Controllership analysis and support local VAT compliance.
• Review and approve local regulatory financial reporting requirements.
• Support business and IT teams with system implementations and solutions, participate in projects, and respond to ad hoc analysis requests.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of finance or accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• SAP FICO experience, particularly CO-PC Product Costing, FI-AA Fixed Assets, and FI-GL General Ledger, is preferred.
• Spanish proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing is preferred.

Schedule

• Three days in office and two days remote; exact schedule to be confirmed with the manager.
• In-office training may be required.

Pay

• Pay rate is USD 45 per hour.
