Develop monthly reports with emphasis on operating trends and variance analyses.
Primary and secondary duties
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and develop complex financial models for projects, developments, and investment opportunities.
- Assist the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with operating budget development.
- Produce monthly reports on operations, including slot, table games, and overall operations reports.
- Monitor operating results and identify business trends.
- Analyze operational, economic, and competitive trends as needed.
- Evaluate potential business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Perform post-event analysis of arena shows and other events to assess property impact and profitability.
- Analyze labor using key volume indicators to support appropriate staffing, customer service, and profitability.
- Perform data entry and floor observations.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, finance, business management, or a related field.
- At least one year of analytical experience; high-volume, complex casino experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, trend-identification, analytical, and financial presentation skills.
- Able to multitask and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Workday, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday OfficeConnect, Cognos Analytics or another BI reporting tool, Snowflake, and SQL are preferred.

- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
Work environment
- Office work environment; the role involves sitting in front of a computer screen for extended periods.
Training
