Role overview
Supports business financial processes, including financial planning, forecasting, and consolidating detailed financial budgets.
Analyzes business performance, generates reports, and performs system maintenance; scope may vary by team.
Key accountabilities
- Analyze data and develop conclusions.
- Organize work independently and work in teams.
- Generate reports from a variety of corporate system applications.
- The role may require FERC gas training.
- Be available to support DTE emergency response to storms or other events affecting service.
Minimum education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Liberal Arts.
- Three years of accounting experience in business, public accounting, or financial systems.
Other qualifications
- Preferred: Work Management experience, such as Maximo; Microsoft Excel proficiency; ERP experience, such as SAP; and knowledge of electric utility operations.
- Preferred: Data management, reporting, and analytics experience; Power BI experience.
- Required: Ability to analyze data, communicate effectively, organize work independently, and work in teams.
- Required: PC proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office products.
Work arrangement
- Hybrid role with an established schedule requiring in-person work at an assigned location; remote work is expected from the employee’s primary residence, subject to company guidelines.
