Role overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain documented records supporting financial forecasts used in rate and budget work.
• Respond to rate and budget questions and explain information to management.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and DAR/FAR government regulations.
• Support government audits by explaining financial data, methodology, and applicability under relevant regulations.
• Perform analytics and evaluative work involving financial and management operations and practices.
• Review managers’ financial data for indirect and forward pricing rate submissions to the government.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in a related role is required; a BA/BS degree is preferred.
• Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and ability to work independently or with a team.
• Current Secret-level security clearance required.
• Dahlgren/Navy systems experience, including ERP, IBPES, or EDW, is preferred.

Compensation

• Target annual salary is USD 80,000–95,000, commensurate with experience.

Physical demands and clearance

• The role requires lifting up to 15–25 pounds and standing, walking, twisting, bending, and squatting periodically.
