Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end finance operations, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and daily financial activities.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE regulations, including VAT, IFRS standards, and internal company policies.
- Own and drive month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
- Establish, enhance, and enforce internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks to safeguard company assets.
- Actively manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, supporting treasury functions and optimizing financial health.
- Oversee financial operations in a trading environment, including inventory accounting, cost control, and margin analysis.
- Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing actionable insights for business decisions.
- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives across the organization.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Desired profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA / ACCA / CMA preferred).
- Preferably male and can start immediately.
- **Arabic fluency (mandatory)** – must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders across UAE/KSA.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably within a trading or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and regional compliance frameworks (UAE/KSA).
- Proven experience in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance financial reporting and operational execution.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
