Finance Officer
About This Role
Financial Accounting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations.o Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and submit tax returns (income tax, sales tax)
Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll, including calculating salaries, deductions, and taxes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Prepare and submit payroll reports.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and assess financial performance
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management
- Provide financial advice and recommendations to management.
Foreign Remittance Management:
- Manage foreign remittance transactions, including currency exchange and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of foreign remittances.
Data Entry and Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Enter financial data into accounting software
- Prepare and maintain financial files and documentation
Qualification:
- 3 years of relevant experience & 2 years of Accounting and finance experience in UAE
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
