POWERCHINA JEPPC Dubai Branch is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Finance Officer** to join our team in Dubai.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, accounting activities, VAT compliance, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, project finance support, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor banking activities.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
- Support project finance and project cost monitoring.
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Maintain VAT records and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
- Process payroll-related financial transactions and employee reimbursements.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and financial documentation.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, government authorities, and other stakeholders as required.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and UAE financial regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in construction, EPC, engineering, or project-based organizations is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
