Job Summary
As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the organization.
Your expertise in finance, accounting principles, and tax regulations will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Financial Accounting:Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with IFRS standards.Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT (Federal Tax Authority – FTA)
requirements
.Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws.

Payroll Processing:Process payroll in compliance with UAE Labour Law and WPS (Wage Protection System).Calculate salaries, overtime, deductions, and end-of-service benefits (EOSB).Ensure accurate payroll reporting and timely salary disbursement.
3.
Financial Analysis:Analyze financial data to identify trends and assess financial performance.Prepare financial reports and presentations for management.Provide financial advice and recommendations to management.
4.
Foreign Remittance Management:Manage foreign remittance transactions, including currency exchange and compliance with regulations.Ensure accurate and timely processing of foreign remittances.
5.
Data Entry and Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Enter financial data into accounting software.Prepare and maintain financial files and documentation.
& Skills
➤ CPA, ACCA pathway preferred
➤ 5 years of relevant experience
➤ Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
➤ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP).
➤ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
➤ Strong organisational and time management skills.
➤ Attention to detail and accuracy.
➤ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
