Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Finance Officer role based in Dubai.

The Finance Officer will manage day-to-day financial operations, including processing transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

They will assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

The role involves monitoring budgets and cash flows, performing variance analysis, and supporting management with financial forecasts and performance insights.

The Finance Officer will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as auditors and banks, to provide timely financial information and resolve queries.

They will also contribute to improving financial processes, internal controls, and reporting tools to support the organization’s growth and advisory services.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Finance, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and general financial management.
  • Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and reconciliation.
  • Developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable insights.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling confidential information, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
