Finance Manager

Role overview

Hours

• The role is 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility on hours available by agreement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the project delivery team day to day, providing clear financial insight and challenge.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, management information and profit and loss summaries.
• Prepare weekly 13-week cashflow forecasts and work with the commercial team to optimize cash performance.
• Control project balance sheet areas including work in progress, debtors, GRNI and ledger reconciliations.
• Support working day reviews, analyse variances and highlight significant deviations early.

Candidate requirements

• Hold a professional finance qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA, or have equivalent relevant finance experience.
• Have experience producing management accounts, forecasts and financial analysis in a project, operational or commercial environment.
• Bring strong Excel and financial modelling skills and the ability to analyse financial data and improve reporting and forecasting.
• Build effective working relationships across finance, commercial, operational and central support teams.
• Analyze issues, develop practical solutions and support implementation.

Workplace

• The role is primarily site-based at Sizewell C, with flexibility for some home working where business needs allow.
