Finance Manager / Financial Controller

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own accounting and finance across all branches, including monthly close and management accounts on a fixed timetable.
• Resolve historical accounting issues while keeping day-to-day accounts current.
• Reconcile AR, AP, bank, cash, fixed assets, inventory, and other balance-sheet accounts.
• Match rental contracts, delivery and return notes, and invoices to ensure no revenue is missed.
• Set credit limits and run collections; control supplier approvals and payments.
• Handle VAT, Corporate Tax, and audit support; maintain the fleet and fixed asset register.
• Issue a monthly management pack covering revenue, margin, EBITDA, AR/AP ageing, cash, and branch performance.
• Set up finance processes for new branches and a planned trading store, and prepare for e-invoicing.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant: CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent; essential.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience; UAE SME or mid-market experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on accounting experience, not only supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, audit, and internal controls.
• Strong ERP and advanced Excel skills.
• Rental, equipment, construction, trading, or multi-branch experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and a commercial mindset.

Pay

• AED 3,500–5,000 per month.
