Finance Manager (Finance Business Partner)

Purpose

Strategic Business Partnering

• Act as the primary finance partner to designated business leadership teams, supporting strategic and operational objectives
• Provide financial support for business transformation, restructuring, and performance improvement initiatives
• Lead financial analysis related to profitability, pricing, cost optimization, and business performance
• Support decision-making through scenario analysis, business cases, and financial modeling
• Evaluate opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and capital utilization
• Develop recommendations to enhance financial performance and support long-term business objectives

Financial Performance Management

• Monitor business performance against budgets, forecasts, and strategic targets
• Identify performance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions
• Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators and financial metrics
• Analyze revenue, cost, margin, and profitability trends to support business decision-making
• Drive initiatives focused on cost control, productivity improvement, and financial optimization
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
• Track the financial impact of business initiatives and improvement programs

Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure alignment between business objectives and financial performance
• Challenge assumptions and provide independent financial perspectives on key business decisions
• Support negotiations, commercial discussions, and strategic initiatives through financial analysis and recommendations
• Facilitate collaboration between finance and operational teams to drive execution of business priorities
• Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving business performance and organizational effectiveness

Financial Governance & Risk Management

• Promote financial discipline and accountability across the organization
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and governance requirements
• Monitor financial and operational risks and support development of mitigation strategies
• Evaluate the financial implications of strategic and operational decisions
• Support implementation of best practices related to financial planning, reporting, and performance management
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks

Leadership & Stakeholder Influence

• Operate as a senior individual contributor and trusted advisor to management
• Influence stakeholders and decision-making without direct authority
• Support a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, ownership, and results
• Lead discussions related to financial performance and improvement opportunities
• Build strong relationships across functions to support organizational objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional finance certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent) is preferred
• 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to business partnering, commercial finance, or financial planning and analysis roles
• Demonstrated experience supporting performance improvement, restructuring, transformation, or business optimization initiatives
• Proven track record of influencing business performance through financial analysis and strategic recommendations
• Strong experience in profitability analysis, pricing evaluation, cost optimization, and financial performance management
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting senior leadership decision-making
• Experience operating within complex and dynamic business environments
• Advanced financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and performance management skills
• Ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights and recommendations
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
• Ability to challenge assumptions and drive data-based decision-making
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Proficiency in financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analysis tools
• Ability to lead change and support business transformation initiatives
• Fluency in English, Arabic would be an advantage
