Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced **Finance Manager** with a strong background in the **construction/contracting industry**.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of **15 years of experience** and a **proven ability to arrange and manage bank facilities** including project financing, working capital, and bank guarantees within the UAE.
This role is critical for supporting the company’s ongoing and upcoming construction projects by ensuring **availability of funds, financial stability, and strong relationships with UAE banks**.
**Key Responsibilities:** **Banking & Financial Facilities**
- Arrange and manage:
• Working Capital Facilities
- Project Financing
• Overdraft (OD) Facilities
- Negotiate with UAE banks for favorable terms, interest rates, and limits
Bank Guarantees & Trade Finance
- Handle and manage:
• Advance Payment Guarantees (APG)
- Retention Guarantees
- Tender/Bid Bonds
- Letters of Credit (LC)
Project Finance & Cost Control
- Prepare financial feasibility reports for construction projects
- Monitor project budgets, cost control, and profitability
- Ensure financial planning aligns with project timelines
Cash Flow Management
- Manage company cash flow effectively
- Ensure timely payments for salaries, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Maintain financial stability during project execution
Bank Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with **UAE banks**
- Coordinate for approvals, renewals, and enhancement of credit facilities
- Ensure smooth processing of all banking requirements
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations
- Prepare financial reports, MIS, and audit documentation
- Handle VAT, taxation, and statutory requirements
Requirements
- Minimum **15+ years of experience** in Finance
- Mandatory experience in **Construction / Contracting companies in UAE**
- Proven track record in:
- Arranging **bank facilities**
- Managing **project finance**
- Handling **bank guarantees**
- Strong knowledge of UAE banking system
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting
- CA / ACCA / MBA Finance (Preferred)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
Key Requirement (IMPORTANT)
Only candidates with **hands-on experience in arranging bank facilities in UAE** will be considered.
