Finance Manager

Job Summary

Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Monitor revenue, gross margins, operating expenses, and profitability by product category, brand, and sales channel.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.
• Develop financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Monitor budget performance and investigate variances.
• Provide strategic recommendations to improve financial efficiency and profitability.

Costing & Profitability Analysis

• Develop and maintain product costing models for apparel, accessories, and fashion products.
• Analyze production costs, inventory costs, import/export expenses, and operational expenditures.
• Monitor gross profit margins and recommend pricing strategies.
• Evaluate supplier costs and support procurement decisions through financial analysis.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels.
• Optimize working capital to support operational requirements and business expansion.

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
• Implement corrective actions based on audit findings.

SOP Development & Internal Controls

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve finance department SOPs.
• Establish strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure consistency and efficiency across finance processes.
• Train team members on financial procedures and compliance requirements.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Business Partnering

• Collaborate with merchandising, procurement, operations, retail, and e-commerce teams.
• Support management with financial insights for strategic initiatives.
• Participate in business planning, expansion projects, and investment evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably within the fashion, retail, apparel, or consumer goods industry.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, product costing, and retail financial operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and audit management.
