Role overview

Financial management and project control

• Oversee daily finance and accounting operations and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and management reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; monitor performance, profitability, and operating expenses.
• Analyze financial results and advise management; oversee project costing, budgets, expenses, commitments, revenue recognition, and margins.
• Establish financial controls and cost-management procedures, analyze project variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Treasury, compliance, and leadership

• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, banking relationships, payments, and liquidity.
• Oversee UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, filings, and payments; coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
• Lead the finance and accounting team; improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Work with management and operational departments and provide strategic financial advice.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 8–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience; previous Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Finance Director experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Project-based business experience is preferred, especially in exhibitions, events, construction, or related industries.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; Xero is preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Pay

• AED 10,000–13,000 per month.
