Finance Manager reporting directly to the Managing Director, with broad ownership of the finance function in a growing, entrepreneurial business.
The role combines business partnering and commercial support with financial governance and controls.
Finance leadership and ownership
- Own the entire finance function rather than only day-to-day accounting activities.
- Support business growth through commercial finance partnership.
- Maintain financial governance, internal controls, and risk management.
- Oversee management reporting, working capital, and cash flow.
Tax, audit, and compliance
- Oversee UAE corporate tax, VAT compliance and filings, external audit management, regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
Process improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems, automation, and reporting efficiency.
Candidate profile
- The client seeks ownership of the finance function, a commercial mindset, and capability in reporting, working capital, cash flow, tax, audit, compliance, and process improvement.
- Travel industry experience is preferred; candidates from other high-volume transactional sectors are also considered.
Relevant sectors
Relevant sectors may include hospitality, airlines, online travel agencies, logistics, and e-commerce, in addition to travel.
