The Finance Manager will manage the Finance & Accounts department and supervise the accounts team.
The role covers customer collections, supplier payments, cash and bank monitoring, project accounts, and monthly financial reports.
Main responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the Accounts team, assign daily work, and check accounting activities.
- Monitor customer outstanding payments, follow up on collections, and maintain the Debtors / Receivables report.
- Monitor supplier outstanding payments, prepare payment schedules, and maintain the Creditors / Payables report.
- Monitor daily cash and bank balances and control company receipts and payments.
- Maintain project-wise accounts using correct project numbers; check project invoices, expenses, material costs, and payments.
- Prepare monthly finance reports for management, including Cash Flow, Debtors, Creditors, Sales, and Expense reports.
- Monitor monthly company payments, check invoices and supporting documents, and ensure proper approval for expenses and payments.
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Stores, Management, auditors, and external accountants as needed.
- Maintain proper financial records and documentation and ensure accounting work is accurate and timely.
Candidate requirements
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and previous experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, or in a similar position.
- Experience managing an accounts team.
- Good knowledge of debtors, creditors, cash flow, and bank reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with ERP/accounting software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Project-based accounting experience is preferred; Qatar experience is preferred.
- Experience in construction, contracting, ELV, ICT, CCTV, security systems, trading, or other project-based companies is advantageous.
Compensation
- Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
- Pay is QAR 7,000–10,000 per month.
Work location
- Work location is in person in Doha, Qatar.
