Manages day-to-day accounting functions and ensures accurate financial records for Ajil’s logistics operations.
Handles payables and receivables and supports compliance in a high-transaction-volume environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain books, ledgers, and bank, supplier, and client reconciliations.
- Record rider settlements, client invoices, and supplier/vendor payments.
- Monitor client receivables and collections; manage payables for vendors, suppliers, and fleet partners.
- Track fleet fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules; support payroll processing.
- Prepare monthly VAT/compliance submissions where applicable and assist auditors with financial statements and statutory requirements.
- Analyze logistics costs such as fuel, maintenance, visa/legal, and accommodation.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2–4 years of experience.
- Logistics, retail, or FMCG experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and ERP/accounting systems, such as QuickBooks, Zoho, or Odoo.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and reconciliations; attention to detail, numeric accuracy, and deadline discipline.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 1,500–4,000 per month.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time position with in-person work location.
