Finance Controller - UAE National

About This Role

Start your finance career with a global leader in construction innovation. As Controller, you will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and contributing to planning cycles. This role typically involves assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts, monitoring budgets, and analyzing financial data to identify trends or discrepancies. You will also support your local team and/or the Shared Service Centre with the annual audit and production of financial statements as required. The Controller collaborates with senior finance staff to improve reporting accuracy, to prepare financial analyses and increase operational efficiency.

What You'll Do '- Verify and process invoices, purchase orders, sales orders, and related financial documents.

• Support accounts payable processes to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
• Manage digital documentation using platforms like SharePoint.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure correct financial procedures are followed.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the finance team on daily operations.

What You’ll Bring '- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or any analytical discipline.

• 6 months – 1 year of experience in finance or accounts payable (internship experience also accepted).
• Emirati with Family Book.
• Effective communication skills, including ability to structure clear presentations and simplify a financial message to non-finance stakeholders
• Solid understanding of financial principles are essential
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with SharePoint or file-management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
