Own and strengthen India finance as the single point of accountability.
Improve financial close quality, ensure compliance, and integrate finance more closely with business operations.

Core responsibilities
- Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and deliver accurate, predictable, consolidation-ready reporting.
- Drive India finance ownership, follow-ups, and closure of open items.
- Own statutory compliance and maintain continuous audit readiness.
- Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits and close observations with sustainable fixes.
- Review and improve deliverables from external partners such as Vistra and BDO.
- Govern employee and operational expenses, budgets, policy adherence, and controls.
- Partner with internal teams to connect financial reporting with business drivers.
- Coordinate transfer pricing and APA matters with tax advisors.
- Strengthen processes, documentation, systems, and internal capabilities for scale.
What makes you successful
- Chartered Accountant qualification with 7–15 years of controllership, accounting, or finance operations experience.
- Experience in a multinational or global reporting environment.
- Strong understanding of India GAAP and India AS, with working familiarity with US GAAP.
- Familiarity with STPI/SEZ compliance, FEMA/RBI guidelines, and intercompany billing models in a SaaS setup.
- Prior experience with external vendors such as Big Four or accounting firms is preferred.
- Exposure to transfer pricing or APA matters is a plus.
