Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to lead and manage the financial operations of our contracting business. The ideal candidate will be a strong auditing experience and a proven track record in large-scale contracting or construction companies. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning to support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Ensure full compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT laws, and internal policies
• Lead internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies
• Develop and implement robust financial controls, policies, and procedures
• Monitor project costing, cash flow, and profitability across multiple large-scale projects
• Review and control expenses, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to budgets
• Manage financial risk and provide strategic recommendations to senior management
• Supervise and lead the accounts team to ensure accurate bookkeeping and reporting
• Coordinate with banks, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders on financial matters

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 15–20 years of experience, preferably in contracting/construction companies
• Proven experience working with large-scale companies and high-value projects
• Strong auditing background (internal and/or external audit experience)
• In-depth knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software
• Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Preferred

Preferred Profile

• Experience with leading contracting or fit-out companies in the UAE/GCC
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail with a strategic and problem-solving mindset

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
