The Financial Analyst provides analysis and insight to support stakeholders, informed decisions, budgeting, and forecasting.
The role focuses on financial performance and relevant KPIs within manufacturing.
Key accountabilities
- Complete weekly flash reporting, weekly profit and loss, and month-end close accurately within agreed timescales.
- Report and communicate KPIs to monitor and drive positive change.
- Ensure accurate, timely inputs into costings.
- Build cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support budgets and quarterly forecasts, understanding key drivers to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and monitor monthly reports and resolve queries promptly and effectively.
- Validate and monitor excellence initiatives for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to aid interpretation and decision-making.
Candidate requirements
- Previous management accounts experience is essential.
- Ideally working towards an accountancy qualification.
- Finance experience in logistics or FMCG/manufacturing is beneficial but not essential.
- Candidates should be numerate and literate, able to challenge and influence stakeholders, and have strong communication and organisational skills.
