Main tasks
- Develop and maintain financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure monitoring processes aligned with organizational policies and objectives.
- Prepare, monitor, and analyze annual IT budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX, with Finance and relevant departments.
- Analyze IT projects, contracts, and initiatives for cost-effectiveness, financial feasibility, and budget implications.
- Monitor actual spending against approved budgets, identify variances, and provide management with insights and recommendations.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, quotations, and contracts with Central Procurement and Finance.
- Review contract values, payment schedules, renewals, and commitments for budget and regulatory alignment.
- Track purchase orders, invoices, outstanding payments, and financial commitments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and spending trends; recommend ways to optimize IT expenditure.
- Develop forecasts, budget projections, and expenditure reports.
- Coordinate with IT Infrastructure, Applications, Information Security, and other teams on financial requirements and spending.
- Maintain financial records and supporting documentation for audits and governance.
