Role overview

Main tasks

• Develop and maintain financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure monitoring processes aligned with financial policies and strategic objectives.
• Prepare, monitor, and analyze annual IT OPEX and CAPEX budgets with Finance and relevant departments.
• Analyze IT projects, contracts, and initiatives for cost-effectiveness, financial feasibility, and budget implications.
• Monitor spending against approved budgets, identify variances, and provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, quotations, and contracts with Procurement and Finance; review contract values, payment schedules, renewals, and commitments.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, outstanding payments, and financial commitments for accurate records and timely processing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze spending trends, and recommend ways to optimize IT expenditure.
• Develop forecasts, budget projections, and expenditure reports for financial planning and management decisions.
• Work with Infrastructure, Applications, Information Security, and other IT teams to consolidate financial needs and monitor departmental expenditure.
• Maintain supporting records for IT budgets, contracts, procurement expenditures, and commitments for audit and governance.

• Prepare and analyze annual IT budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX, in coordination with Finance and relevant departments.
• Conduct financial analysis of IT projects, contracts, and initiatives to assess cost-effectiveness, feasibility, and budget implications.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, quotations, and contracts commercially and financially in coordination with Procurement and Finance.
• Develop financial forecasts, budget projections, and expenditure reports to support planning and decisions.
• Maintain financial records and supporting documentation for budgets, contracts, procurement expenditures, and commitments to support audits and governance.
