Finance - Accounts Payable Clerk

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and code vendor invoices, statements, and employee expenses in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Follow approval workflows and route invoices to approvers; respond to payment inquiries.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, location managers, internal teams, and business units.
• Reconcile vendor statements periodically to keep accounts current.
• Follow internal procedures and external regulations; raise compliance and cybersecurity issues with management.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounts payable processes.
• Manage daily email communications and reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training in accounting and prior accounting experience.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn new applications.
• Time management, prioritization, multitasking, and deadline management in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to change and a professional demeanor.

Compensation and benefits

• Compensation range is $48,000–$50,000; no pay cadence is specified.
