Responsibilities
- Set long-term vision and objectives, review business performance, and guide strategic initiatives in waste management and sustainability.
- Oversee partnerships and investments and ensure alignment with climate impact goals.
- Support executive leadership in major decisions.
- Provide input on risk management, compliance, and resource allocation.
- Represent company interests with stakeholders, investors, and relevant industry bodies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership, governance, and strategic decision-making experience in environmental services, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of sustainability, waste management practices, and climate impact investing.
- Financial oversight proficiency, including budgets, investments, and long-term business plans.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize effectively, and provide timely guidance.
- Experience in private equity, impact investing, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
- An advanced degree in business, finance, engineering, environmental management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent leadership experience.
