Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi.
The Field Services Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of valves, pumps, and related flow control equipment at customer sites.
Responsibilities
include diagnosing equipment issues, executing corrective and preventive maintenance, and providing hands-on technical support to ensure safe and reliable operation.
The role will interface directly with customers to clarify technical requirements, offer product and application guidance, and ensure service work is completed to agreed quality and safety standards.
The Field Services Engineer will document service activities, prepare technical reports, coordinate with internal engineering and parts teams, and support continuous improvement initiatives in the field.
Qualifications
- Strong Field Service experience with rotating equipment, valves, pumps, or related industrial systems.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Hands-on Preventive Maintenance skills, including inspection, calibration, and repair in industrial environments.
- Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly on-site, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with industry safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and risk assessments for field work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, manuals, and service documentation.
- Willingness to travel within the region, work in industrial plant environments, and adapt to varying site conditions and schedules.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills, including preparation of service reports and documentation.
- Previous experience in oil and gas, power generation, or water/wastewater facilities in the Middle East is an advantage.
