Field Service Tech III
Role Overview
Field Service Technician III is a senior-level role, where you will take on significant responsibility for overseeing major component exchanges and repairs.
This role requires a deep understanding of wind turbine systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
You will also be responsible for leading teams on-site, ensuring the safety of all crew members, and maintaining the highest standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
- Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent; advanced technical certifications or degree in renewable energy or wind turbine technology preferred
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with wind turbine maintenance, repairs, and component exchange
- Must be able to pass the company's driver eligibility requirements
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proven ability to lead teams and mentor technicians
- Commitment to proactive safety culture, with a focus on zero-harm practices
- Required to travel to different jobsites on a limited notice
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on service excellence
- Working Environment:
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and extreme heat
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
