Field Service Tech II
Role Overview
The Field Service Technician II position involves a higher level of responsibility in performing and assisting with major component exchanges for wind turbines.
You will work more independently than a Technician I, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining wind turbine systems.
This role requires a solid understanding of wind turbine operations and mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as a proactive approach to safety.

Requirements
- Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent; specialized training in wind turbine technology or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance or a related field.
- Must be able to pass the company's driver eligibility requirements
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing wind turbine systems
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
- Required to travel to different jobsites on a limited notice
- Proven ability to work in a safety-first environment with proactive safety behaviors.
- Working Environment:
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and extreme heat
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
